Toney Elementary School

Decatur, GA 

After receiving hundreds of nominations, Toney Elementary School in Decatur was selected as a top recipient in 2019. Some of the facility improvements included an outdoor classroom with whiteboard and benches, shade canopy with picnic tables, STEM garden with native vegetation, crushed stone walking path, fencing, landscaping, parking lot refresh, painting, custom murals and more!

Rock Chapel Elementary School

Lithonia, GA 

Rock Chapel Elementary was selected as the top 2018 School Crashers recipient. Some of the facility improvements included landscaping, new facility signage, benches and an outdoor courtyard makeover.

Canby Lane Elementary School

Decatur, GA 

Canby Lane was nominated by Assistant Principal Kia Dennis. Georgia United’s School Crashers judges agreed that Canby Lane’s nomination illustrated multiple areas of needed facility improvements inside and out.

Oakcliff Elementary School 

Doraville, GA 

Oakcliff was nominated by 3rd grade student, Chloe Riggins. Judges agreed that her nomination essay reflected her love for her school and articulated many opportunities for community involvement and facility improvements. 



Woodward Elementary School

Decatur, GA 

Woodward Elementary was chosen from hundreds of nominations across the state. The elementary school received multiple facility improvements inside and outside the school.

Chapel Hill Elementary School

Decatur, GA 

Chapel Hill was the first school to receive a School Crashers makeover! With the help of community volunteers and DeKalb County School District, we were able to provide new carpet, paint murals in the cafeteria, update cafeteria furniture, improve landscaping and install benches.
